Terms of Service & Community Guidelines
To ensure a clear understanding of our relationship, we encourage you to review our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
1. Important Definitions
- Affiliated: An "Affiliate" refers to any person or entity that:
- Controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with that entity.
- Directly or indirectly owns more than 20% of the outstanding voting stock of that entity.
- Has the power to direct the management and policies of that entity.
- Consumers: A “Consumers” means consumers using our Services for any reason, including to consume information and/or attend events /or tasks /or jobs.
- BolehJe: BolehJe is a product/platform/services brand owned and operated by Exalumen Technologies Sdn. Bhd.
- BolehJe Properties: "BolehJe Properties" encompasses all of BolehJe’s products, features, and services made available to you through various channels:
- Online: Through BolehJe's websites, including bolehje.store, gigsje.store (collectively referred to as "Site(s)").
- Offline: This includes services like entry management, sponsorship opportunities, and marketing or distribution services that exist outside of the BolehJe platform.
- Mobile Access: BolehJe Properties are also accessible through mobile applications.
- Web Applications: This includes access through webpages designed specifically for functionality within the BolehJe ecosystem.
- API Access: BolehJe Properties can be integrated with other platforms through application programming interfaces (APIs).
- Subdomains: Any subdomains of BolehJe websites that offer BolehJe Properties also fall under this definition.
- Material: “Material” includes information, data, text, editorial content, design elements, look and feel, formatting, graphics, images, photographs, videos, music, sounds, and other content and materials.
- Organiser: A "Organiser" means an event/task/job creator using our Services to create events for Consumers.
- Services: “Services” include the BolehJe Properties and the Organiser Services.
- Site Content: “Site Content” refers to material contained in or delivered via the Services or otherwise made available by BolehJe in connection with the Services.
- Your Content: “Your Content” is any Material that you contribute, provide, post, or make available using the Services, or that you otherwise contribute, provide, post or make available to us, or that you authorise us to use.
- Your Trademarks: “Your Trademarks” are the trademarks, trade names, service marks, and logos that you contribute, provide, post, or make available using the Services, or that you otherwise contribute, provide, post or make available to us, or that you authorize us to use.
- When these Terms use "BolehJe," "we," "us," or "our," that refers to Exalumen technologies. and its Affiliates or subsidiaries, and each of its and their respective officers, directors, agents, partners, and employees.
2. Your Authority.
Using our Services on behalf of an entity will bind that entity to these Terms.
- If you will be using the Services on behalf of an entity (such as on behalf of your employer), you agree to these Terms on behalf of that entity and its Affiliates and you represent that you have the authority to do so. In that case, "you" and "your" will refer to that entity as well as yourself.
3. BolehJe 's Services and Role
Our platform empowers organisers to create, manage, and promote unforgettable live experiences (Events/Tasks/Jobs). Organisers can easily sell tickets, collect donations, offer parttime jobs and build lasting connections with their audience.
BolehJe is a platform that empowers organisers. We do not create or own the events listed on our site, nor do we sell tickets or merchandise. Our focus is on providing tools to help organisers manage their events/tasks/jobs effectively.
When hosting an event/task/job, the Organiser is solely responsible for ensuring that their event/task/job and any page displaying an event/task/job complies with any applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and that the goods and services described on the event/task/job page are delivered as described and in an accurate, satisfactory manner.
If the Organiser uses BolehJe Payment Processing, we act as the Organiser’s limited agent to process payments from Consumers on the Organiser’s behalf using our third-party payment service providers. If the Organiser selects Facilitated Payment Processing, we transmit the Consumer’s payment details to the Organiser’s designated payment provider but do not process the transaction.
4. Term & Termination
Term.
These Terms apply when you access our Services.
Your use of our Services indicates your agreement to these Terms. These Terms will remain in effect until terminated, either by you or by Exalumen Technologies Sdn. Bhd. However, certain provisions will continue to apply even after termination, as explained in Section 4.4.Termination.
We can revoke your access to our Services.
We may suspend or terminate your right to use the Services at any time, including if:- you violate or breach these Terms or any other agreement between you and us, or if you fail to pay any amounts when due;
- you misuse or abuse the Services, or use the Services in a way not intended or permitted by us;
- you engage in any conduct on or off the BolehJe Properties that jeopardizes the safety of our community or integrity of the BolehJe Properties or interferes with the experience of our community or the BolehJe Properties; or
- allowing you to access and use the Services would violate any applicable local, state, provincial, national, or other laws, rules and regulations or court order or would expose us to legal liability.
We may choose to stop offering the Services, or any particular portion of the Services, or modify or replace any aspect of the Services, at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to provide you with notice of our termination of your access to the Services, if we believe that failure to do so would materially prejudice you. You agree that we will not be liable to you or any third party as a result of our termination of your right to use or otherwise access the Services.
Deleting Your Account.
We hope you want to continue using our Services, but please refer to this paragraph if you don’t.
Except as agreed otherwise in a separate written agreement between you and us, you may terminate your access to the Services and the general applicability of Terms by deleting your account. If you are a Consumer using the Services without a registered BolehJe account, your only option for these Terms to no longer apply is to stop accessing the Services indefinitely. So long as you continue to access the Services, even without an account, these Terms remain in effect. If there is a separate agreement between you and us governing your use of the Services and that agreement terminates or expires, these Terms (as unmodified by such agreement) will govern your use of the Services after such termination or expiration.Survival of Terms.
Certain provisions will always remain applicable to both you and us.
Even after termination, certain provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These include provisions related to liability, releases, indemnification, warranties, dispute resolution, and intellectual property.
5. Indemnification
You agree to have our back if a third party comes after us because of something you did or failed to do.
You agree to hold Exalumen Technologies Sdn Bhd and its affiliates harmless from any claims or legal actions arising from your failure to comply with these Terms or related agreements.
- your breach of these Terms (including any terms or agreements or policies incorporated into these Terms);
- your unauthorised use of the Services;
- your Licensure, any failure to obtain or maintain any Licensure, or any error in obtaining or maintaining any Licensure;
- any Feedback that you give or receive;
- your breach of any applicable local, state, national or other law, rule or regulation or the rights of any third party;
- if you are an Organiser, Your Events (including where we have provided Services with respect to those events) and Your Content and Your Trademarks, provided that in the case of (vii) this indemnification will not apply to the extent that the Claim arises out of BolehJe’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- We will inform you of any claims arising from your breach of these Terms. While we may not always provide immediate notice, your obligation to indemnify us remains unaffected unless you suffer significant harm due to the delay. If we choose to defend ourselves against the claim, you agree to assist us in any way necessary.

6. Assumption of Risks.
You must assume risks that are inherent in attending live events
Participating in live events means assuming certain risks. These risks can include illness, injury, or other potential dangers. By attending an event, you voluntarily agree to take on these risks.
7. Fees
We charge the following fees.
Creating an account is free. However, we charge fees for listing events/tasks/jobs and processing ticket sales or registrations. These fees can vary based on agreements with individual organisers. In some cases, organisers may choose to pass these fees on to attendees, while in others, they may absorb them into the ticket price. Please note that fees paid by attendees/gigger may include additional charges like facility fees, taxes, and processing fees. The fees we charge organizers may differ from those paid by attendees/giggers, and may include both costs and profit or loss. We cannot control or disclose the fees charged by your bank or credit card company, so please check with them for details before making a purchase.
8. Your Account with BolehJe
- Do’s and Dont’s.
When you create an account with us or use our Services, you must provide us with accurate information and follow these rules.
We may require you to create an account to access certain features or functions of the Services. You agree to the following:
- Our Services are not targeted at children. You must be the legal age of majority where you reside to use the Services.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself, or if you are using the Services on behalf of an entity, that entity (the "Registration Data"). You also must update this Registration Data if it changes.
- If there is a dispute between two or more persons or entities regarding account ownership, we will be the sole arbiter of that dispute and our decision (which may include termination or suspension of the account) will be final and binding.
- If you are using the Services on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to legally bind that entity and grant us all permissions and licenses provided in these Terms.
- You will immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your password or account, or any other breach of security. You are responsible for any activities that occur under your account.
9. Content Rules and Guidelines.
Your Content must comply with our rules and guidelines.
9.1 Your Content must be accurate and truthful. We reserve the right to remove Your Content from the Services if we believe that Your Content or Your Events violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or for any other reason. Your Content and Your Trademarks may be displayed on the Services in proximate distance to any Site Content or any third-party content, including content that is substantially similar or competing with yours, and we do not guarantee your exclusivity as an Organizer in any category. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Services are provided on a nonexclusive basis. We may preserve Your Content, Your Trademarks, Registration Data, and all other data associated with your account, and may also disclose Your Content, Your Trademarks, Registrations Data, and all other data associated with your account account if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
- comply with legal process;
- respond to claims that any of Your Content or Your Trademarks violate the rights of third parties;
- enforce or administer these Terms; and/or
- protect the rights, property, and/or personal safety of us, our Users and/or the public, including fraud prevention.
You understand that the technical processing and transmission of the Services, including Your Content and Your Trademarks, may involve transmissions over various networks and/or changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices.
9.2 Harmful Misinformation
Prohibition on Harmful Misinformation includes but is not limited to:
- Misleading content that encourages violence against an individual or specific group of people
- False or misleading information that impedes any political integrity or any individual’s or group’s civic participation, such as:
- False or misleading information about public safety that is intended to deter people from exercising their right to vote or participate in a census
- Content that encourages or instructs voters or participants to misrepresent themselves or illegally participate
- Content intended to delegitimize election results on the basis of false or misleading claims
9.3 We strictly prohibit illegal activities on our platform, such as drug trafficking, pyramid schemes, and any other actions that are against the law.
9.4 Hate speech is any form of communication that disparages, discriminates against, or attacks a person or group based on their protected characteristics. This includes inciting, promoting, or condoning hatred or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, sex, ethnicity, religion, national origin, immigration status, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
9.5 We strictly prohibit sexually explicit content, including pornography, nudity, and content related to sexual solicitation or services. Events that focus on adult sexual activity, such as sex or kink/fetish parties, Nude modelling, photography, or drawing class, classes and workshops where active participation in sexual activities is required or expected, or events where sex toys will be sold or promoted. Adult performances such as burlesque shows, strip teases, cabaret, or pole dancing that include sexually suggestive text or imagery.
9.6 We strictly prohibit the promotion of organised criminal activity or terrorist organisations.
9.7 We strictly prohibit child sexual abuse material (CSAM), which includes any content that depicts or exploits children sexually. This includes child nudity, content intended to arouse sexual interest, and any material that puts children at risk of abuse or harm
